Not exactly stuck between a rock and a hard place, 1,500-plus guests celebrated the official launch of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, the city’s first branded condo-hotel, at an Alist party hosted by Ashlee Simpson and Carmen Electra. Other celebrity guests included Macy Gray, Ryan Key of Yellowcard, Shane West, Vincent Young, Andrew Keegan and Chargers Kassim Osgood and Shawne Merriman. Performances by Hoobastank, the Ying Yang Twins and guest deejay Benji Madden of Good Charlotte kept revelers rocking into the wee hours.
